The strategy is to develop the skills of the students mainly on Business Speech, Business Presentations and on Handling or Managing Meetings. These are important skills in the Business World. Using Business Cases, the students will undergo English Fluency Drills wherein pronunciation and grammar will continue to be improved.
The students are exposed to business concepts and issues to be able for them understand these issues and gain confidence in discussing them. This will prepare the students for the case discussions in the third module.
In developing spoken language skills, it is important, not only to develop the skills in using the language, but also develop the concept among students. Language is only a facility in delivering or expressing the concept. It is then important that in developing the language skills of student in English the development of the thinking of students must also be done simultaneously. The concept or the thought is the material while the language is the means of expression. It is then imperative to develop both. Without the concept there can be no expression and without the facility of expression, there can be no expression.
