The course is designed to provide the students with the capability to speak English fluently, with the correct pronunciation, the correct grammar and the capability to understand English through listening and reading. The capability to understand English through listening and reading and the capability to speak English fluently or functionally are the standards being required by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
The purpose of the Pronunciation Training is to provide the students with the capability to correctly pronounce English terms according to internationally acceptable standards of pronunciation using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).

Drills in Oral Reading
The Drills are designed to systematically develop the pronunciation skills of the students, level by level or through a build-up method. The students will be trained how to use the IPA, then the students will be trained in pronouncing words correctly, covering the entire vowel and the consonant pronunciations. In order for the students to really imbibe the skills, word pronunciation drills will be done repeatedly. After gaining expertise in pronouncing words individually, the students will be drilled in reading English articles. Through this process, the progress of the students will be solid.
The following are the approaches in training students about English Grammar:
Exposure to common grammatical mistakes
Filling correct words in sentences with blanks
Completing sentences
Grammar Correction in Sessions
Throughout the sessions, the wrong grammars committed by the students will be noted and corrected in class. In such manner, the students will be able to learn slowly the correct grammatical structures of sentences. Applied Grammar Training is done through application English rather than going through the technical approach in teaching English. At the end of the course each student is expected to have the following behaviors:
